Project Description
In renovating the lobby of the Worthington Renaissance Hotel in Fort Worth, multiple areas had to be reimagined and upgraded to create a dynamic, modern space. The contiguous layout included a coffee shop, lobby bar and upscale steakhouse. Toro Toro, the Pan-Latin steakhouse, features an impressive open kitchen with a center island that houses a custom J&R solid fuel grill with custom built-in smoke box – the perfect showpiece to handle world-class creations from Chef Richard Sandoval. Island Supply also provided a back of house kitchen which allows for efficient production of his show-stopping cuisine. The Toro Toro Bar & Lounge carries into the lobby, and boasts a layout that uses the space for maximum impact, both behind and in front of the bar. Additionally, working with HKD on design, Island Supply’s build for the Corrida Coffee Shop made the most of a limited footprint, providing the necessities for specialty coffees and beverages while delivering on an open, modern aesthetic that blends seamlessly with the surroundings.
